Notice: poster submissions will be accepted till September 24th (subject to review): please send a 2-pages abstract to smbm10 AT gmail.com. Instructions below apply only to main conference submission (CLOSED). Do not use the easychair system for poster submissions. Submissions should consist of a self-contained pdf file, with a limit of eight (8) pages for full papers and four (4) pages for short papers (plus one optional page for references). Reviewing will be double-blind, and submissions should therefore NOT contain author names or other obviously identifying information. Manuscripts will be submitted electronically as PDF files, using the EasyChair submission system of SMBM'10, which can be found at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=smbm10. Only in case of problems with the EasyChair system, please send your submission to smbm10@gmail.com The recommend structure for submissions is the following
IMPORTANT NOTE: authors who use the JBMS style should select the "Publication style settings" and NOT the "Review style settings". Additionally, figures and tables should be included inline and NOT sent separately. More in detail, the following should be done: - Comment out (or just remove) the line following the line "%Review style settings" - Uncomment (remove starting "%") from the line following the line "%Publication style settings" - Comment out lines "\def\includegraphic{}" and "\def\includegraphics{}" (following comment in .tex) - Include tables and figures inline - Remove end-of-document "Figures" "Tables" and "Additional Files" sections (but see next point!) - NOTICE that the BMC style will NOT allow inclusion of single-column figures and tables. Therefore please use \begin{figure*} and not \begin{figure} for inclusion. If this takes up too much space, figures can be instead included in the additional sections at the end of the document. In this case, up to two additional extra pages for figures can be used. As an alternative (in case of difficulties with the JBMS style), we suggest to use the ACL stylesheets: latex (in one zip file) word (in one zip file) Further information can be found here. |
